Hi Everyone

Thought I would post a update about how things are going,  I have been a little busy  with  my online and live playing. I have really increased it alot,  I am playing on ultimate bet , cake poker, doylesroom, bodog
these four sites are really keeping me very busy,  I am sure everyone know that cake poker is by far the softest site around.  Doylesroom just  switched to the cake poker network, doylesroom is not part of cake poker  they are just using the same network as cake poker, and omg  these two sites now are soo  loose it’s unreal.  The good part is I get to  chat with doyle  brunson and mike caro  everyday   via their forum and it is very cool.  I have been  doing alot of multi tabling   playing on ultimate bet and doylesroom at the same time.  I have had the privlage to sit at a few tables with doyle and mike caro  and even doyles son todd brunson. I can say this  doyles son todd can def play poker lol.  mike caro is a poker legend  and he gives great poker advice and plays the game very very well.  within the last week  I have been playing the cash games on doylesroom anb ultimate bet   and  I have been doing very very well.   yesterday on doylesroom I sit at a $3-$6 08 limit game  and a $1-$2 08 pot limit  and  within 1 hour  I am up $1500
you will find alot of juicy action in the $1-$2 08 pl games  and even in the $3-$6 limit games as well.  so I ended my session yesterday  over 2k winner. by this sunday I should be obtaining my weekly goal of winning 3k  on doylesroom.  I do like ultimatebet because they offer a bigger variety of cash games  and more mtt’s .  my weekly winnings so far on ultimatebet  is only $1100  but  that figure should be increasing really soon.  Things are going really great for me now, they really are   I have  4 really good poker rooms to play on  and things really couldnt be any better for me.  doylesroom has a weekly bounty  and  any first time players who doesnt cash gets their entire entry fee refunded. that is cool, because  there are several pro’s in this weekly bounty  mike caro, doyle drunson, todd brunson   just to name a few  there are several others. we recently had 12.5 inches of snow dumped on us in one day   that was a awful time of trying to get out and about. Thank god I have a brand new 4×4 chevy  weeeeeee
In closing I  would  like to thank  the three members at donkeystakes who posted their very kind comments   I am glad you agree with me  and  you do know that mark jervis  unixbro  did roll/scam me.

New Shows on Discovery channel

well looks like peacebrother left me two nice comments  on my blog,  please grow up peacebrother   why dont you go stick your nose back up  unixbro’s butt   Thats where you belong.  we all know that you and gunnerforest  and snickers  and pokerviper  are all homo’s

anyway   I have been really addicted to watching  The Discovery channel  and A-E, The Discovery channel has some really good show’s   like Dirty Job’s  with Mike Rowe   and  One Way Out    If you get a chance  you should watch One Way Out   This guy  will do some really crazy stunts to try to escape from anything.   This one scene  he has 30,000 bee’s on  his body  while he is in this glass chamber  with his hands duct taped inside oven mitts, now there is a washing machine underneath the glass chamber and he has 30 seconds to get out of the oven mitts  if he doesnt get out of the gloves in 30 seconds  the washing machine kicks on  and starts shaking really bad.   he didnt get out of the gloves  and he had to be let out of the chamber  and he had hundreds of bee stings. a  very crazy show indeed

ultimatebet a fishbowl

I have been playing alot on ultimatebet lately,  between ultimatebet, cakepoker  and doylesroom  I really dont know which one is fishier lol    doylesroom just launched their new network  and poker room for all players from the u.s.a.   so  ultimatebet has alot more to choose from as far as omaha hilo mtt selection  and they also have alot of cash games always running.  I just cashed in a $6.60 omaha hilo mtt  I played very good the entire tourney  and  did really well.  all of their 08 mtt’s  are really loose and really full of fishies.  but  i really dont think there is a poker room out there  that is as soft as cake poker,  I Think I am in fishie heaven  lol    I started playing early today  on ultimatebet   cash games  and  the   0.10  and 0.25 nl omaha hilo cash games  are so soft.  i sat with $10  and in 10 minutes  my bankroll is at $100   Im like holy cow  lol.  these players will go all in with  practically  nothing.

unixbro sends his members a personal message adds a roller as a mod

Looks Like  Unixbro The Scammer  Has Brought  On  A Roller, Scammer as a Mod    I just got this from one of his members   wcu1usc1 rolled me for $200  so yeah  putting a roller as a mod  is a great idea

Hello,

We have brought 2 new admins on board this week.

PoWda - He is mainly going to be a forum mod. Taking care of the forum is a huge job. I thank PoWda for wanting to do this.

wcu1usc1 -  He is a Roller.Scammer and He  Did   Roll Debbie, He brings a lot of expierience to the site. He is very good with helping new people getting situated.

The 18 man challenges are moving along nicely. I foresee someone or two finishing possibly this week and moving on to the second challenge.

There are a lot of stakes that are open and seem to be abandoned. These stakes are going to be marked rolled if the stakees do not update thioer rails this week. When this happens the stakee will get DNS gear.

It is not ok to allow a stake to sit for days or weeks at a time without you letting your staker know whats going on. Thats disrespect of your stakers money and will be dealt with here.

We now have the staff to make sure things like this doesn’t fall through the cracks. So please check your “Stake Center” if stakes need to be updated or closed please do so.

Good Luck on the felts,

unixbro

Is Unixbro (MARK JERVIS) Gay? www.donkeystakes.com

wow  so now we know that mark has been to prison  and he is a roller, scammer  hmmm   and now mark is gay  omg   this is so funny

———————————————————————————————————-

Last night I gave my friend a hand job for not even five minutes. Am I gay?
Mark, North Carolina

From Snickers
Relax. Touching a dick for five minutes will not turn you gay.And besides I liked it when you gave me that hand job. One hand job will not turn you gay. Do you still like girls? Then you’re not gay. You still like girls, but you enjoyed touching a dick and would do it again? Then maybe you’re bi. You never really liked girls and you’re secretly hoping your friend asks for a blowjob next time? OK, you’re probably gay.

From Pokerviper
just because  I gave you a hand job and you then gave me one does not mean you are gay, even though I wish you was gay  because i am a homosexual. I think you are a very handsome guy.

baddputtycat (1:35:05 AM): he doesnt even have my address or my last name
baddputtycat (1:35:32 AM): yes he told udraw and pokerviper that he sent me $500 via a check
baddputtycat (1:36:00 AM): and he told udraw that he never accepted the $110 stake that i staked him for
baddputtycat (1:36:13 AM): of course i have proof that he accepted the stake
baddputtycat (1:37:45 AM): and unixbro is a former criminal  he has been to prison  and when pokerviper asked him about  his name being on a prison website   unix told him that he owned the prison website
dj_dantera (1:38:12 AM): so this is what you think about unix ahh
baddputtycat (1:38:31 AM): what you mean what i think
dj_dantera (1:38:37 AM): he was a mod at that site but never been to prison

baddputtycat (1:41:06 AM): http://www.prison-online.com/community/index.php?topic=6778.0;wap2
baddputtycat (1:41:22 AM): unixbro:
Hiya all I was politely given the hint I should put in an intro LOL (psst thanks jussme)

I have been around the judicial system since the day I was born. (literally I was born in Framingham Womens Correctional facility in Massachusettes) I have dealt with my dad and mom being in and out all my life. My dad is down for the rest of his life this time. His next parole hearing is in 2053. He will be 108 at that time.

I have done a few small bids myself. However I have pulled myself away from my troubled lifestyle to make a home for my wife and kids.

Thanks for the warm welcomes I have recieved already. Thanks to budwoman who told me the url to this site. I had heard about it but never found it till yesterday.

I am not a hater although I am looking at my first post from
baddputtycat (1:41:45 AM): Thanks for the warm welcomes I have recieved already. Thanks to budwoman who told me the url to this site. I had heard about it but never found it till yesterday
baddputtycat (1:42:09 AM): if unix was a mod from that site he wouldnt have said that  lol
baddputtycat (1:42:21 AM): and he said he owned that site
baddputtycat (1:42:26 AM): all lies
baddputtycat (1:43:37 AM): i dont hate unix     im just very disappointed and sad that he rolled, scammed me
baddputtycat (1:43:58 AM): i would have never thought he would be dishonest
baddputtycat (1:44:20 AM): thats the problem everyone believes  everything he says
baddputtycat (1:45:13 AM): why do you think udraw and viper left
baddputtycat (1:45:25 AM): they knew unix was lieing
baddputtycat (1:47:39 AM): so you playing
dj_dantera (1:47:47 AM): yeh
baddputtycat (1:47:56 AM): cool   i was earlier
dj_dantera (1:48:07 AM): i know they left coz of what you said
dj_dantera (1:48:20 AM): we heard you accused unix of rolling 5k
baddputtycat (1:48:43 AM): no i have never accused unix of rolling 5k
baddputtycat (1:49:03 AM): and udraw and viper didnt leave because of anything i said
baddputtycat (1:49:27 AM): udraw and viper left because  i proved to both of them that unix had lied to them
baddputtycat (1:49:55 AM): unix told both of them lies  and they asked me to prove that he was lieing  and i did
dj_dantera (1:49:57 AM): untrustworthy business.. ok i understand
baddputtycat (1:50:13 AM): im being honest here  ok
dj_dantera (1:50:19 AM): yep
baddputtycat (1:50:30 AM): udraw  came to me  i never went to him
baddputtycat (1:50:53 AM): udraw said to me  can you prove that you sent the $500 to unix on full tilt?
baddputtycat (1:51:02 AM): i said yes and i did
baddputtycat (1:51:30 AM): udraw then said can you prove that unixbro did in fact accept your $110 stake?
baddputtycat (1:51:37 AM): i said yes and i did
baddputtycat (1:52:15 AM): unixbro the told draw and viper that he mailed me a $500 check  even though unixbro does not have my last name or address
baddputtycat (1:52:33 AM): so thats why udraw and viper left   because unixbro lied to them
dj_dantera (1:52:46 AM): and also he rolled you
baddputtycat (1:53:14 AM): yes   udraw  said that he looked at my $110 stake and seen there was no rail
baddputtycat (1:53:28 AM): so udraw asked unix about the $110 stake
dj_dantera (1:53:29 AM): i have seen it many times myself
baddputtycat (1:53:49 AM): when udraw  asked unix about the stake   unix said he didnt accept it
baddputtycat (1:54:04 AM): im like how can he say that
baddputtycat (1:54:15 AM): the thread was locked meaning he accepted it
dj_dantera (1:54:27 AM): true
baddputtycat (1:54:28 AM): and unix said in the thread  i accept  lol
baddputtycat (1:54:36 AM): another lie
baddputtycat (1:55:03 AM): i dont know where you heard that i accused unix of rolling 5k
dj_dantera (1:55:35 AM): a few members came in saying it
baddputtycat (1:56:52 AM): well  you can look over my blog  or on recgroups  and i have never said that    i have only accused unix of rolling my $110 stake  and part of the $500  that i sent him to stake for me on stars     unix claims that he staked out over 2k  on debbiesf   thats another lie
baddputtycat (1:57:40 AM): sad part is   this is really hurting  mark   more than anyone
baddputtycat (1:58:19 AM): i just wonder  why he decided  to risk his reputation and integrity  over  $250  and a $110 stake
dj_dantera (1:58:39 AM): it’s alot more than other rolls ive seen
dj_dantera (1:58:51 AM): but i can see where your coming from
baddputtycat (1:59:11 AM): what you mean
dj_dantera (2:00:38 AM): bit intoxicated here, i’m seeing how you say he decided to risk his rep over this amount
baddputtycat (2:01:02 AM): well  the amount shouldnt even matter   really
baddputtycat (2:01:19 AM): everyone thought  unix was a very honest person
dj_dantera (2:01:31 AM): yeh, not really
dj_dantera (2:01:38 AM): i know he’s a bad ass
baddputtycat (2:01:46 AM): oh  ok so some people  didnt think he was honest ?
baddputtycat (2:01:53 AM): oh really
dj_dantera (2:01:54 AM): not really
baddputtycat (2:02:14 AM): what you mean by bad ass
dj_dantera (2:02:52 AM): banning members and taking control
baddputtycat (2:03:00 AM): yeah  he has a temper
dj_dantera (2:03:04 AM): he’s fucked over robertlee once b4
baddputtycat (2:03:10 AM): yeah i heard
dj_dantera (2:03:28 AM): i am a longer member at DS than unix
baddputtycat (2:03:43 AM): and he chewed me out  because  i was staking neg
dj_dantera (2:03:51 AM): he took over so my mod status continues under is A
baddputtycat (2:03:56 AM): unix thought neg was gonna roll him
dj_dantera (2:04:07 AM): i would too
dj_dantera (2:04:20 AM): the first time i seen that $6 heeb i couldn’t believe it
dj_dantera (2:04:34 AM): thought, no this aint gonna work
dj_dantera (2:04:52 AM): sure enuf it does and unix woulda been shitting he was going to roll
dj_dantera (2:05:03 AM): wouldn’t you from a $6 stake
dj_dantera (2:05:16 AM): after taking 2 weeks or more to complete it
baddputtycat (2:05:24 AM): well no  i wouldnt immediatley  think he would roll me
dj_dantera (2:05:51 AM): no i mean, wouldn’t you roll unix if you ran it up to 1k
dj_dantera (2:06:07 AM): from $6!
dj_dantera (2:06:13 AM): i mean far out
baddputtycat (2:06:42 AM): yeah  he did a great job   but  no i wouldnt have rolled unix
dj_dantera (2:06:54 AM): interesting
baddputtycat (2:07:41 AM): i was happy to be at ds  and  had staked out over $2500  and thats the last thing on my mind was rolling anyone
baddputtycat (2:08:07 AM): and i would have never ever thought  of all people unix would roll anyone
dj_dantera (2:08:26 AM): thats true
dj_dantera (2:09:03 AM): i put together a DS flyer for udraw to hand out at the wsop in tunica soon
baddputtycat (2:09:21 AM): really  ?
baddputtycat (2:09:26 AM): what does it say ?
dj_dantera (2:09:33 AM): yeh, sucks now it can’t happen
dj_dantera (2:09:47 AM): promotion for the site
baddputtycat (2:09:55 AM): oh   siiggghh
dj_dantera (2:09:58 AM): usual sales pitch
dj_dantera (2:10:14 AM): looks real nice, but ughhh u get that
baddputtycat (2:10:35 AM): yeah  i wouldnt wanna promote  the site  now
baddputtycat (2:10:56 AM): maybe if he payed me back    but that will never happen
dj_dantera (2:11:13 AM): maybe i should propose to take it over
dj_dantera (2:11:31 AM): the site that is
dj_dantera (2:11:36 AM): not this debt
baddputtycat (2:11:59 AM): yeah  im sure unix  would  just let you take it over
dj_dantera (2:12:10 AM): haha
dj_dantera (2:12:15 AM): now now deb
baddputtycat (2:12:20 AM): seriously
baddputtycat (2:12:29 AM): as much as  unix braggs

baddputtycat (2:12:59 AM): dont get me wrong
baddputtycat (2:13:04 AM): i loved the site
baddputtycat (2:13:13 AM): and i loved everything about the site
baddputtycat (2:13:27 AM): and i feel that i treated everyone fairly
baddputtycat (2:14:03 AM): its just unix that i have a problem with  not his site    if unix would pay me back there would be no problem
baddputtycat (2:16:43 AM): hey
dj_dantera (2:17:17 AM): yeh
baddputtycat (2:17:17 AM): ask unixbro  if he wants to sell his site   lol
baddputtycat (2:17:21 AM): http://www.websiteoutlook.com/www.donkeystakes.com
baddputtycat (2:17:32 AM): his site is worth $876
baddputtycat (2:18:23 AM): his daily ads revenue is only $1.2   ouch

baddputtycat (2:19:07 AM): lol
baddputtycat (2:19:25 AM): yeah  that would be great if you took over the site
baddputtycat (2:19:42 AM): but  i dont think mark would allow that
dj_dantera (2:19:55 AM): me neither
dj_dantera (2:20:06 AM): fun dreaming tho
baddputtycat (2:20:51 AM): did 3 mods leave  or just  2
dj_dantera (2:20:59 AM): 2
baddputtycat (2:21:48 AM): i can remember  when rounders paradise was just as busy as donkeystakes
baddputtycat (2:22:10 AM): and their chatroom would have 20 or more members in it daily
baddputtycat (2:22:18 AM): and guess what happened
dj_dantera (2:22:33 AM): it all fell to shit?
baddputtycat (2:23:00 AM): the owner started screwing over the mods and the members  and the owner even rolled a few members
baddputtycat (2:23:17 AM): after that  everyone left
baddputtycat (2:23:51 AM): i have a feeling this is going to happen to donkeystakes
dj_dantera (2:24:26 AM): happens to all sites i think
dj_dantera (2:24:50 AM): the latest craze can only last so long
baddputtycat (2:25:56 AM): now by looking at that prison website that mark posted on   does that look like he was a mod ?
dj_dantera (2:26:14 AM): no but on another site i had seen he was
baddputtycat (2:28:02 AM): was mark mad that i got him kicked from his web hosting service
dj_dantera (2:28:32 AM): im sure of it
baddputtycat (2:29:03 AM): his new server and web hosting service is in the netherlands   he tried to hide this  but  you cant hide anything on the internet lol
baddputtycat (2:29:32 AM): well he registered his domain name at godaddy.com
baddputtycat (2:29:47 AM): im sure this costed him some money
baddputtycat (2:30:51 AM): will just be a matter of time  and he will be looking for another server  and webhost
baddputtycat (2:31:23 AM): because when they find out he is conducting illegal online gambling they will shut him down  again

Omaha hilo The value of connecting cards

Many players think that hands like K Q J T are quite weak when, in fact, they are quite strong. This is due several factors. First, when you flop this hand well there is almost never a possibility of a low being available. Hands that kill the low are always more valuable because when you win with the hand you will win the whole pot. The strongest hands in Omaha 8/b are hands that have scooping potential. There are two types of scooping hands: ones that have two way potential like AA23 and ones that have only high potential like AAKQ. Hands that have only high potential are, for this reason, strong. The second factor that makes high straight cards so valuable is that it is a hand that you rarely get trapped with. Either you flop the hand well (as when the board comes T93, QQ9, or AQT for example) or you flop it very poorly (23Q, 578, K52 for example). Unlike with low straight cards where you can have the idiot end of the straight with a bad low that you have to pay off with high straight cards you either flop the nut draw or you don’t. There is really just no gray area with hands like these-as long as you are capable of throwing away your one pair flops when there are dangerous low cards out there. Because there is no gray area these hands are very easy to get away from on the flop. And since you will almost exclusively be gunning for the whole pot when you make these hands, thus scooping, these hands are very valuable and can be played from any position for a raise-particularly when you have suited features with them. I hope that these mistakes have given you something to think about. The main lesson about hand selection in Omaha eight-or-better you should take away with you is that the fact that everyone gets four hole cards means that you have to be pickier about what you play. It is much more important than in any other game that has no wild cards that your hand be one that can easily make the nuts. The strength of the winning hand as compared to stud or hold’em in always much greater. In stud two pair will generally win the pot. In hold’em one pair will generally win. In Omaha 8/b both these hands will generally lose. Because your opponents have four cards the strength of the winning hand is greatly increased so you, as a player, need to play hands that are likely to make the nuts when you make your hand. If you always keep this in mind you will be well on your way to becoming a winning Omaha 8/b player.

Looking Back and missing a friend

when pokerstars first opened  I was one of the few who started playing right away  pokerstars offered a few players to beta test the pokerstars software before pokerstars actually opened. john harkness was one of the lucky few who was offered this great opportunity. also to the players who beta tested the poker stars software these players was offered a small percentage of ownership of the company. I got to know john harkness  by playing just about everyday on stars  omaha hilo mtt’s and sng’s. john harkness also played the same games. we always chatted and talked and he truly was a first class gentleman at the tables. john also wrote a few books  and was a true winner at the poker tables. it is amazing how you can become such close friends with players who play online poker. John passed away in Dec 2007, I still think of John from time to time. below is a blog i wrote right after john passed away.

John Harkness

I learned of the death of a good friend John Harkness, I just cant believe he is gone, for those of you that dont know him or never played poker with him, he was a very good poker player and also a film critic. I have had the pleasure of playing poker with john since pokerstars opened and I enjoyed every table we ever played on together. I have played on countless cash tables with john. john just like me, loved omaha hilo pl with a passion and he was very very good. when I was in a sit n go with him I knew what I was up against. I am truly going to miss my friend, he would always have something good to say to me and he was never ever out of line at the tables, john was the true definition of a respectable poker player. While John was obviously very knowledgeable about the film industry, hisreal passion was his hobby — collecting watches. He could go on for hours about stuff that I knew nothing about, but it was OK since I could tell he was enjoying talking about it.John also participated in the beta testing for Pokerstars. For his trouble, he received a very small ownership position in the company.December 18, 2007 at 6:56 PM EST John Harkness, the film critic for NOW Magazine since its beginning on Sept. 10, 1981, was found dead in his home in Toronto on Tuesday, according to Michael Hollet, the tabloid’s editor and publisher. Mr. Harkness, who was 53 had been suffering from high cholesterol. “He had never missed a deadline in 26 years,” Mr. Hollet said Tuesday fternoon, “so we sent somebody to his house when his copy didn’t arrive.” That is when they found his body and called the police. Born in Montreal in 1954, Mr. Harkness grew up in Halifax and Sarnia. He earned a degree in English literature from Carleton University in Ottawa before doing graduate work in Cinema Studies at Columbia University in New York City, where he studied under critic Andrew Sarris. “John Harkness was simply the best film critic in Canada over the last 26 years,” said Mr. Hollet in a press release. “He has been an essential element of NOW magazine’s success and his unique vision and bravery and art in expressing it inspired all of us at NOW to strive.” Mr. Harkness also wrote for Sight And Sound, Take One, and the Cinematheque Ontario program and spent several years as a trade reporter for Screen International and Cinema Canada. His book on the Oscars, The Academy Awards Handbook, is currently in its eighth edition. besides being a film critic and author john loved to play poker with a passion, I will miss you john it is strange how one can become such close friends online, I will miss my friend dearly, R.I.P john harkness

Let’s see; although I havent been a member of many staking sites, I
would say the ease of the staking system itself.

I dont get on the chat that often so I still dont know a lot of people
on here, but I still think there are lots of good people on
donkeystakes and look forward to seeing and helping it grow.

First off, I love the chatroom it makes for a more friendly atmosphere
and lets you get to know all of the rollers, scammers  alot faster and
makes you feel as if your vocie is heard instead of the regular
ignoring/flaming that happens on most “pop” forums (P5’s, 2+2 ..ect)
when you try to post a thread.

Secondly, Donkeystakes is imo one of the easiest sites to navigate
that I visit on a regular basis.

Also the “unix 18-man challange” is one of the smartest testing stakes
I’ve seen as it gives pretty much anyone who wants a shot at making
something from nothing to do that and says alot about the charcter and
ethics of a member with low risk to the site. even though this site is
full of rollers  thats not a bad thing. nothing wrong with stealing
other members money, i like how you rolled debbie and then just banned
her,good job

If I could change one thing though it would be changing the name of
the “Disciplinary Center” to “Rollers Den”

Great site and the potential to be the #1  Rollers staking site on the
web, great players, terrible managment and nothing but great things to
come in 2009 for rollers

GL to all lets make 2009 a monster

honestly, this poker site got me back into playing poker on a regular
basis…along with the nonstop annoying milksak telling me about how
great this site was.

Some good rollers on this site…

I would have to agree with all that has been said. The “official”
programmers have made the staking system damn near idiot proof. The
chat room is always fun. The people make this site what it is and
always will be. and it is always best to allow scammers and rollers to
be members here   since I am a roller myself
